Muck and Mud

That is what it's like outside. I hate winter :( Despite that, I had the strangest thought this morning at 5:20 am as I was letting Jackie(one of our cats) outside. I thought to myself, "I either want snow or winter better be over!" Knowing my luck, spring will go on hiatus and I'm going to be stuck permanently in winter.
Anyways, not only am I fighting the mud outside when I go to take care of the horses, I'm fighting something similar inside. I have been trudging throught the same scene off and on ever since Monday. I just didn't have a feel for the scene but I know that writing something is better than nothing, so I was marching forth like a good soldier. Discipline, you know? Well, finally this morning at 5(before I let the cat out) as I was feeding baby I was able to get a better feel for how I wanted the scene to go. First chance to write was interrupted by baby though! Ugh :( Never fear, there's a 1-2 hour nap coming up around 2 pm and I desperately hope I manage to finish the scene.
Special news for all you(sadly, all of you might just be hubby :)) Last night at indoor camp for several of the nearby Nazarene churches, a teenager from my church was saved. *Great big grin*
